Our People

There are currently 82 full time equivalent (FTE) positions within the Branch. Approximately 90% of these positions are dedicated to providing programs and services while the remaining 10% are involved in branch administration activities.

"The Cochrane Timiskaming Branch staff comprises a diverse and highly skilled multi-disciplinary team of qualified social workers, social services workers, nurses, occupational therapists, clinicians and other professionals.

a multi-disciplinary team of experts...

Our team members have expertise in crisis intervention, suicide prevention, psycho social rehabilitation, and other treatment approaches. Our Assertive Community Treatment Teams also include a physician and a psychiatrist. As a result of this multi-disciplinary approach to staffing, the Branch is able to meet diverse needs of clients with mental health difficulties.

The specialized training of individual staff members is also utilized as a training resource for personnel in other community organizations and service providers, as well as the general public to increase awareness of the issues surrounding mental health.
