Participation in program activities assists members to:
develop and build their
self-confidence
learn a variety of life skills
increase socialization activities
strengthen informal support networks
foster peer support
belong to a supportive community
Most activities take place outside of the office setting
in order to encourage members to adapt and connect with their
community.
